Coursework: Statement of Intent

My life style magazine will be about a young female student, who did not go to university. At this age is so hard to think about your all future life. Everybody tried to change her mind, but she had her opinion, that is why my magazine is called "MINDSET" - it represent that everything is just in your mind and you can change it how you want.
On my cover page will be my friend Tetiana in the everyday, not very standing out clothing. The light makeup and a bag on the back will shows her desire to travel. I will took the photos in the area of London in which there are usually many tourists.
The main idea of my magazine is to show that people must do what they like, also I think that people at the age of 16 can't choose what to do for the entire life. My opinion that after a high school students must have a pause around a year to live for themselves and really think about the future. My main story will be about a girl who did not go to university and decided to travel instead.
The colour scheme of my cover page will be mostly blue, it convents the calm, relaxion, loyalty and authority. For my Title, slogan and cover lines I will use san serif typography.
On my double page spread I will tell a main story about a teenage girl that does not to do anything. Her thoughts are flying somewhere and she can't think about the future. Her point is people are really preoccupy about the education and degree that the forgetting that they are alive. "Find a time for yourself, go and do something you enjoy". I will try to create a realistic, creative story.
I think my magazine will be interesting for teenagers and adults (age 16-30), because My main story is about a teenage girl ,who left everything and started to live for herself. My magazine reinforcing the stereotypes about the age, traveling and education.
The specific audience of my magazine is rich, successful people, so audience pleasure for them will be: Diversion: escape from everyday problems and routine - entertainment: Personal Identity: finding ourselves reflected in texts or learning behaviour and values from the media and Surveillance: Information useful for living.
